Did you drink before getting on the bike? The bike will come to a stop. These unique electric motorcycles have just been released. In partnership with the Society of Automatic Engineers (SAE) Club, the Prayagraj campus of the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) has created an electric bike. It has been noted that consuming alcohol will cause this bike to halt. Thus, this bike is not fit for an intoxicated driver. The anti-sensor on this bike recognizes the scent of an inebriated driver and prevents the bike from starting. This e-bike is unique because it also has a lot of cutting-edge sensors installed.

Installed Drink and Drive Sensor

Professor Jitendra N. Gangwar of the Mechanical Engineering Department oversaw the students at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) while they created this innovative electric bike. The assistant professor at the institute claims that the bike's sensors will not start if they determine that the driver has consumed alcohol, hence preventing any chance of an accident. To deter theft, this special bike also has an anti-Drink and Drive sensor installed.

Features of This Electric Bike

• Regarding the bike's features, its top speed is 70 km/h.
• This bike is said to operate for 60 kilometers on a full charge and to fully charge in 4 hours.
• Additionally, the bike has a hill assist feature that will make climbing hills easier.
• In the event of an accident, this bike's emergency services will also activate automatically. In the event of an accident, it can also automatically summon emergency services to request assistance.

This special electric bike will set you back about Rs. 1.30 lakh.

Notably, MNNIT debuted this innovative bike at a recent Bhopal competition run by the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE). MNNIT final-year students outperformed 70 teams to win the top 10 Best Design and Futuristic prizes. Pulkit Singhal, Adarsh Kumar, Sumit Mishra, Yashav Bharti, Sandeep Yadav, Surya Pathak, Prashant Gupta, and Shivam Srivastava are the names of the individuals.
